Once a roof has been cleaned, we often offer new customers a service for painting or sealing it.
We only ever paint or seal the tiles once the roof has been cleaned thoroughly and the old moss and algae have been removed, so the sealer and the paint go onto the tile.
There is a range of colours, and we can give you a colour chart at the free estimate.
Sealing or painting the roof extends the life of the tile, gives you a different colour or restores the original one, and helps to prevent further weather damage.
It helps to stop the sun’s UV rays from damaging the tile any further.
When the roof is sealed it helps to stop mould and algae, which reduces the moss building up, so your gutters don’t block up as often.
It improves the look and value of the house, and if you choose the right colour it can make the house more energy efficient, pushing some of the sun back instead of soaking it up.
